| These Herd Sires were bred, raised and developed by Donnell Cattle Company, and we consider each to be among the most complete and promising sires in the breed. We selected these bulls for use in our program because we are very familiar with the Pedigrees, EPDs, Individual Performance, Ultrasound Carcass Data, Phenotype, etc of these truly complete individuals. Each bull is bred differently, but each one is structurally sound, balanced and optimum in the traits of economic importance to cattlemen.
Every mating is viewed as an opportunity to achieve greater consistency and balance within our herd. We are in the process of stacking 1i5 on daughters of 3C3 or 3J4; 3C3 on daughters of 1i5 or 3J4; and 3J4 on daughters of 1i5 or 3C3, etc. When we are done, the end product of these “3 Generation D C C Stacked Matings” will be unique, optimum, and balanced. Of course, we will continue to use balanced and proven outside A I Sires, as well as young D C C Herd Sire prospects as they identify themselves within our program.
